With a sugar cane crushing capacity of 10,000 million tons per day, 160 days of the season, and 8.5 percent sucrose recovery, HWSML is one of Pakistan's largest producers of white refined sugar. As of last year, it had produced approximately 136,000 million tons of white refined sugar. HWSML was established as a public limited company in 1991. It is about 100 kilometers from the Group Head Office in Lahore and is called Nankana Sahib. HWSML Group's corporate strategy has been to continuously advance technology. Through its R&D efforts, it has paved the way for new growth in the sugar industry. For the first time in the country, Haseeb Waqas Sugar Mill developed and utilized cutting-edge technology for cane preparation using a split cane carrier system. As a result, the sugar industry in Pakistan experienced a revolution.
The in-house-developed Feeder Technology that Haseeb Waqas Sugar Mill pioneered in Pakistan. These pressure feeders are currently present in the majority of Pakistan's brand-new mills. This technology can increase the crushing capacity with little capital investment. One of the highest crushing rates is being achieved at the Haseeb Waqas Sugar Mill. Haseeb Waqas engineering created and produced the mill. The milling tandem has a crushing capacity of 10,000 tons per day and consists of five 42" x 84" mills. Installing a pressure feeder mill with five rollers has accomplished this. Among the benefits is an increased crush rate while using less power. Improved extraction with less need for personnel. The Pressure Evaporation System with Falling Film Type Evaporator Bodies was another first for Pakistan from Haseeb Waqas Sugar Mill. There are three 80-ton boilers in the Mills. The innovative processes used by the Haseeb Waqas Group produce sugar with fewer impurities and transparent white crystals. The Sugar satisfies all quality requirements.
