Company Story
After opening in 1996, The Winery soon outgrew its original location in Historic Winton Place. After then, we relocated to the west side, where we have been a fixture for more than 18 years, offering a laid-back and welcoming environment for all. Due to our age of 23, we are currently adults. Cheers!
The best way to characterize the food at Henke Winery and Restaurant is as American/eclectic.
We produce all of our own wines in this cellar. Except for having vineyards, we operate just like Mondovi. Henke makes the most of the several top-notch vineyards that the Ohio Valley region has to offer.
The foundation of Henke Winery is family. During a trip to see his sister in 1973, Joe's original desire to brew wine was ignited.
