Hofladen Hartmann

The Hartmann family business is located in the center of Sechtem and has a history of about 200 years.

Initially, as was widespread at the time, it was a small family business that, in addition to growing vegetables and grains, raised a few cows, pigs and chickens. Agriculture's tumultuous history in recent decades has shifted the focus to vegetable production.

Today, Helmut Hartmann and his partner Cornelia Schröder run the business with the constant support of his father, his Severin Hartmann. About 20 hectares around Zektem are cultivated with different kinds of vegetables, fruits, cereals, potatoes and sugar beets.
