JINWEI - was founded by Mr Woei Keong (casually known as Mr Jin) in Year 1992 as a sole proprietorship under the name of Jinwei Trading. Jinwei Trading started as a local trading company which distributes selections of dry foodstuff to local business community, before he decided to specialise fully on onions trading in Year 2000 - leveraging on his vast experience in the industry acquired since the age of 18 and the 1998 economy phenomenon. That’s when the founder went a step further to start sourcing and import internationally, trying to demonopolise the local market. At the same time, he ventured into fried onions production to support the growing demand.

Its many years of business operation has then established Jinwei Trading a household name for onions commodity trading in Malaysia.

Year 2019 - marks a new milestone as the company is then be registered as proper private limited company, under the name of Jinwei Global Sdn Bhd.

This reputable company now breaths its second-generation, continues to propel with the same core values inherited from the founder himself.

Today - the company operates as a powerhouse of foodstuffs; committed to supplying and producing high-quality foodstuffs to the foodservice and retail industries locally and internationally. Living up to the tagline which reads “The Essence of Good Food” - we work with established international agriculture companies and leading food manufacturers to supply and produce the finest quality of raw food, condiments and pre-cooked recipe packs to the market.

We marry the sophistication of technology, operation system and brand building to support the ever-growing demand of price, convenience and quality in the market - aiming to create and inspire the values of fair-trade and sustainability.
