Kaimai Cheese Company was first established in 2005. Their name ‘Kaimai’ means 'food source'. It started with exporting quality ‘French style’ soft cheeses. The Te Mata Cheese Company, established in Hawkes Bay, is merged with Kaimai Cheese Company and now sells cheeses under both of these quality brands.
Kamai specializes in producing premium quality cheese committed to flavor, taste, aroma, and texture. It is a leading supplier of cheese across New Zealand and in the international market. It also specialized in the supply of a wide range of cheese like brie, blue, feta, camembert, and cheddar.
