Kigeni Sakami was born out of a passion for connection — between people, places, and purpose. Founded in Helsinki in 2024, our family run and orientated company was built on a simple but powerful idea: that the finest products deserve a fair and transparent path to the world.

Our journey began with coffee,not just any coffee, but Kenyan specialty coffee, grown in rich highland soils by a family run farm,our family, whose work is as deeply rooted in tradition as it is in excellence. We saw an opportunity to do things differently — to build a direct, ethical supply chain that honors the producers behind the beans, and delivers the freshest possible coffee to cafés, roasters, and consumers in Finland and beyond.

But coffee was only the beginning.

Today, Kigeni Sakami is growing into a trusted importer and distributor of natural Kenyan products, including organic macadamia nuts and avocados. Our mission remains grounded in transparency, fair pricing, and youth empowerment at the source. We work closely with local producers and cooperatives, ensuring that value flows both ways — from farm to cup, from harvest to health.

Our name , Kigeni Sakami ,reflects our roots and our reach. “Kigeni” speaks to the origin and strength found in East Africa, while “Sakami” reflects movement, connection, and purposeful trade.

We may be a young company, but we are growing with intent and with integrity.
