Knockanore Cheese is handmade on the Lonergan family farm in County Waterford, using raw milk from our grass fed pedigree herd of 150 Friesian cows.
Our cows spend most of the year roaming outdoors as nature intended.
The Lonergan family have been farming in the lush rolling countryside of Knockanore for over 60 years.
Knockanore Cheese is a hard-pressed, mature farm-house cheese made in the cheddar style, using raw cow’s milk.
The cheese is matured for 6 – 8 months and some times longer depending on customer requirements.
Knockanores' more-ish, subtle flavour and rich creamy texture offers a real taste of the lush farmland on which the cows graze
