Ligurský has been on the market since 2000. Founded as a family business based on Zlín's meat production tradition. From the very beginning we have had a clear corporate strategy - to supply only the highest quality lard on the market and to produce it by the traditional method - melting.
Melting gives the characteristic properties of homemade lard. This is in contrast to the fad "melting" when lard contains more water and is bland in taste.
In 2015, the company made a change. The most notable change was the relocation of the factory from Zlín to Flynn, thereby expanding production capacity. Another important point was participating in the 10th anniversary year of the PEARL ZLÍNSKO Regional Convention. The aim of the competition is to highlight and win local processors producing high-quality food products using Czech ingredients.
