One of the newest and most advanced sunflower seed processors is the Kristall oil plant, which is a member of the ASB group of companies and holds a leadership position in the Tambov region for the production of pressed and refined sunflower oil. In 1999, work on the 250 tons per day of seed-processing capacity initial stage of the oil plant began. And the preparatory-press shop opened for business in 2001. The second phase of the oil plant, which consists of 100 tons per day of oil deodorization and refinement workshops, was introduced in 2005.
The brand-new workshop showcases the most recent developments in the design of refining machinery. The cost of building and installing the equipment came to 200 million roubles.
The oil refinery started producing bottled sunflower oil under the names Luchezarnoye, Kristallina, Russian Oil, and Autumn Bouquet in November 2008. The company can currently produce 1.5 million bottles each month
