- Established in 1989 as one of the first fruit and vegetable growers and exporters to obtain Global G.A.P. certification in Egypt.
- Has translated the first Arabic version of the Global G.A.P. Standard as a leading member of the newly established Global G.A.P. National Technical Working Group (NTWG), and participates in the regular translation reviews with the NTWG.
- Has farms with many certifications including ISO 22000, OHSAS 18001, LEAF, Albert Heijn Protocol, M&S Field to Fork, Tesco Nurture, Organic, Bio-Dynamic, Bio-Suisse, Soil Association, BRC, IFS, Fair-Trade, SEDEX, MPS, BOPP, and ISO 17025 for the laboratory.
- Relies on experts in biodiversity management and has subcontracted experts with technical knowledge about biodiversity and conservation such as FWAG in the UK, to review and develop conservation, biodiversity, water, and soil management plans.
- Has company farms located in a desert-reclaimed area in the north of Cairo, the capital of Egypt, where the land had been a desert for years before it was reclaimed and has since created jobs for thousands of people and encouraged different wildlife species to come and seek habitats in the area.
