Mokha King was named after Yemen's Mocha Port, which is on the Red Sea's coast. From the 15th century to the beginning of the 18th, Mocha Port was the primary market for coffee (Coffea Arabica). The coffee itself did not grow in Mocha; rather, it was brought from the surrounding countryside to the port of Mocha, where it ruled the globe and was shipped elsewhere.
Mocha Coffee is 100% genuine Yemeni coffee thanks to our partners' policy of only purchasing dried cherries. Farmers in Yemen keep alive a centuries-old coffee industry that turns beans from Yemen's mountains into coffee that is served in the world's best and trendiest coffee shops.
