This vegetable of lighter or darker shades of green depending on the variety has a cylindrical shape and is about 25 to 40 centimetres long with a white and watery pulp. A very refreshing and thirst-quenching product with a high water content.
A strong and purifying diuretic, it is ideal for weight loss diets due to its high water content, and is one of the vegetables with the fewest calories.
