Company Story
Peter Faith and Bente Saugbjerg founded Oz Tukka in 2003.
In 1996, Bente moved from Denmark to Australia. Peter, Bente's Australian husband, was eager to show her the magnificent Australian landscape and its extraordinary and rare vegetation. They immediately relegated their typical oregano and thyme to the back of the pantry after realizing that some of the plants were extremely excellent, and they began incorporating wonderful new flavors into their cuisine with Lemon Myrtle, Wattle Seed, Bush Tomato, Tasmanian Pepper Berry and Leaf.
After discovering and falling in love with Australian Bush flavors, Bente and Peter decided that sharing these distinctive flavors would make the perfect gift for their friends and family back in Denmark.
