Company Story
Founded in San Francisco, California, on April 1. It was the export division of the Heggblade-Marguleas Company, a domestic fruit marketing firm established in 1935, and was originally known as the "Paramount Export Fruit Company." Anthony M. devised the slogan "We Span the World" for our business. The original office was housed at the PG&E building on Market Street. Founded in 1958 as a California business, Paramount Export Company.
Under the 1999-instituted Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Paramount Export becomes a 100 percent employee-owned business.
