Founded in 1986 by Salvador Gutierrez in the fishing village of Bucaro, Los Santos. We started in 1992 as a fresh fish processor and exporter to the United States. In 2004, we introduced a range of frozen products including eels, skates, fish, whole, snouts and fillets. In 2014, he integrated fishmeal products and started distributing them nationally to hotel chains and restaurants through his affiliate, Búcaro Premium, with plans to expand the product to supermarkets, restaurants and national hotels.
