To establish themselves next to Carol's parents on their family farm, they relocated back to Williamstown, New Jersey in 2005. Barry accepted a position as a control room operator at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station in Barnegate, New Jersey, and eventually rose to the post of senior reactor operator. Along with creating their home, their own family, and caring for Carol's parents, they worked together to clear the land and gradually construct Savoie Organic Farm. Barry was able to retire from nuclear power in 2014 and work full-time on the farm with Carol because of the success of their business. Barry and Carol are still partners in the farming of their land even though they are no longer married.
