The Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers in Ujanowice was founded in 2000. Its main goal is to raise the living standards of farmers and improve the conditions for producing and selling their products. The association constantly takes new measures to protect the interests of fruit and vegetable producers and organizes advocacy activities to promote local products.
In 2006, the association applied to the Marshal of Malopolska County for registration of the traditional product Suska Sechlońska. Traditionally dried prunes were registered as a traditional product on December 28, 2006 under the name "Suska Sechlońska". On October 9, 2010, this product was registered by the European Commission as a Polish regional product with a Protected Geographical Indication sign.
