The initiators of the project wanted to bring together as many agricultural producers as possible to be able to sell their products in large chain stores, so they established the "țara Mea" Integrated Agricultural Cooperative in 2014. In the beginning, a group of Olt County vegetable growers joined forces, laying the groundwork for the cooperative.
It became an integrated agricultural cooperative in April 2015 with the intention of shortening the technological and commercial supply chain for the benefit of the cooperative's members and Romanian consumers.
We have been selling a wide range of products under the "țara Mea" brand in all Kaufland stores since the end of 2016. These products include dairy and cheese, milling and baking products, canned goods, pork, poultry, eggs, and more. The cooperative employs approximately 4,000 people and operates in the Bucharest Municipality as well as the counties of Arad, Brașov, Giurgiu, Satu-Mare, Buzău, Olt, Hunedoara, Galați, Prahova, and Călărași.
Numerous advantages are implied by the partnership with Kaufland: large market for sales, the sale of large quantities to optimize the technological and logistical flow, the promotion of the brand and products in the media, in stores, or at a variety of other events that Kaufland organizes to encourage domestic product consumption
