It is a shade-grown Cardamom, comes to you directly from prime Cardamom plantations located in the forested hills of Idukki, in the tropical region of southern Kerala. Green Cardamom is known as Queen of Spices. It has unique aroma and sweet-spicy taste so it is used in both sweet and savory dishes. The Scandinavian countries use it in preparation of confectionary dishes such as pastries and cookies. It is added in syrups and desserts. Cardamom is chiefly used in preparation of Biriyani a rice dish, and curries. Cardamom oil is considered as natural mouth freshener. It helps to release stress when used in tea or coffee.
