Thomson International was founded in Scrubster in 1999 by William Thomson. The company goal is to provide Scrabster with an independent national and international fish sales and delivery agent for the new millennium. It is established to meet the growing demand from vessels selling as agents with knowledge and experience, the company specialize in efficiently unloading the customers vessel so that when it arrives at port everything is processed, and the customer catch is maximized. Thomson International office is conveniently located directly at the harbor so the customer can always reach the office.

Managing Director William Thomson has a master's degree in business administration, has been in the fishing industry for over 20 years and personally oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. The company want to use the market knowledge and know-how for the benefit of the customers and to continuously develop the range of services.
