In 2007, they began our journey into the American hop industry; Fears of crippling shortages turned the U.S. and World Hop markets upside down. Entrepreneurs were seeing dollar signs while brewers were fleeing!

This market flimsiness joined with the steady development of the Art Blending Industry generated the advancement of little Business Jump Ranches, Leisure activity Bounce Homesteads, Distilleries, and Terrace Jump Nurseries from one coast to another.

San Juan Hop Farms, located in Montrose, Colorado, was our contribution to this new hop farming movement. Our 34-acre project was developed using invaluable knowledge from gracious and entertaining Hop farming families in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, both 5th generation farmers, and commercial hop industry professionals. We were able to get a realistic idea of what it would take to bring this specialty crop to market by visiting their farms during the spring, summer, and harvest seasons.
