- Founded in 2004, engaging in research, production, processing, and marketing of seed varieties for cereal crops.
- Products include seeds of corn, tomato, eggplant, cabbage, rice, sorghum, beans, and more.
- Uganda’s leading seed house as evident in the 2018 Access to seed index.
- Achieved the distinguished ranking no. 1 in Uganda in the 2016 Regional Index for Eastern Africa and ranking no.6 in the 2018 regional index primarily because of the innovative ways of making products available to smallholder farmers.
- Owns research farm in Senge, Kawanda, commissioned a seed factory and foundation farm in Gulu in 2007, constructed and commissioned a second seed factory in Masindi on 2012 and relocated the head office to a new factory at the Kampala Industrial and Business Park giving the company an overall processing capacity of 10 MT of seed per annum.
