Quang Tri Province 1120km distance from Ho Chi Minh City is a coastal area Quang Tri, which is well-known for its unpleasant history of war which resulted in the dividend of the North and South Vietnam by the Hien Luong Bridge.
From long history Black Pepper Quang Tri is identified by the ancient values that have been recognized and traded from the 16th century, by then referred to "black gold". The French had grown and developed black pepper in this area in big scale from the XIX century and officially imported into France from the early XX century.
To organic pepper farming Nowaday, Quang Tri has lost its first place of pepper since Quang Tri’s farmers are still keeping their natural cultivation practice and not using any chemical substances, therefore the yield is not as high as other pepper provinces. Most of pepper farms are small scale and planted in their garden. We are fortunate to accompany the farmers in Quang Tri to build and protect the value of ancient Quang Tri pepper, to create a sustainable supply which meets global organic standards.

Special character of Quang Tri pepper The taste and aroma of pepper here is much different with other regions in Vietnam. Due to affection of the sun and wind from Laos which is very hot, so as the oily variety, the percentage of oil inside pepper is high, the size may not be big like other regions but the taste is stronger.
