Cocoa Beans – Togo Origin

We supply high-quality Forastero cocoa beans from Togo, fermented and sun-dried to export standards. The beans are whole, well-fermented, and brown in colour, with cut test certificates available for each lot. Our cocoa is graded according to ICCO standards: Grade 1 beans contain 85–100 beans per 100g, with fermentation above 65%, moisture not exceeding 7.5%, slate beans under 3%, and mouldy beans under 3%. Grade 2 beans range from 101–120 beans per 100g, with slightly higher allowances for slate (≤8%) and mould (≤4%). Foreign matter is kept below 1.5% in Grade 1 and below 2% in Grade 2, ensuring compliance with international specifications.

Packaging is in 30–35 kg jute bags, export-marked with “Product of Togo,” lot number, and net weight. A 20ft container typically loads around 12–13 MT (≈ 370–400 bags), while a 40ft container holds about 25 MT (≈ 770 bags).

Cocoa from Togo is harvested in two main cycles. The main crop runs from October to January, producing 70–80% of the annual supply with larger, high-quality beans. The mid-crop occurs from May to July, offering smaller but consistent volumes. Off-season supply is limited.

We offer shipments under FOB Lomé terms, with minimum trial orders from 10 MT and the ability to scale to full container loads of 18–25 MT. Our current export capacity is around 18–40 MT per month (1–2 containers), with an annual capacity of approximately 500 MT. Payment can be arranged via LC at sight or 30% advance and 70% against Bill of Lading copy. Each shipment is accompanied by a full set of export documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, and Quality/Cut Test results.
