It has a delicate, light flavour and consistency.
Naturally it contains Vitamin E.
Over 95% of Avocado oil consists of a precious lipid portion which renders it very similar in composition to olive oil. The remaining portion consists of phytosterols, in particular beta-sitosterols and vitamin E.
The elevated content of monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic acids) allows avocado oil to have optimal control of total cholesterol, optimizing the LDL and HDL values. This has beneficial effects on the prevention of atherosclerotic plaque formation and cardiovascular pathologies.
Avocado oil possesses a very high smoke point, precisely 270°C, ideal for frying.
Therefore, it is recommended for greasing baking and frying pans.
Thanks to the special Sprayleggero System, the spray bottle can allow a consumption reduction of about 90% (a 200ml can equal about a 3-litre standard bottle of oil) and protects the contents from exposure to air and light for a long time. This enables all the fine properties of the condiment to be maintained unaltered and preserved as freshly pressed. Each second of spray emits 1,8 ml/1,7 g (15 Kcal) of product enough to season any dish.
