Company Description
The vineyards of Vignaquaranti are located in the municipality of Quaranti, in the Monferrato Astigiano, an area of ‘white lands’ known for producing high quality wines. The five hectares of vineyards in Castelletto Molina, facing south-east, cultivate the red wines ‘Rablé’ (Barbera DOCG), ‘Thelem’ (Barbera superiore DOCG), ‘Meraki’ (Pinot noir DOC) and ‘Nemo’ (Nebbiolo DOC), and the whites ‘Rebèl’ (from Arneis grapes) and ‘Livé’ (from Nascetta grapes). Founded in 2009 by Pietro Cioli, Francesco Baghi, Guido Natale and oenologist Guido Beltrami, the company combines tradition and innovation. With low yields per hectare and a focus on quality, the grapes are harvested by hand and vinified using low-invasive and low-sulphite techniques. From 2022, production is being converted to organic, with certification expected in 2025, as a natural evolution of the company philosophy based on sustainability and respect for the environment.

Why Us?

01

Exceptional Terroir and Vineyard Management

Vignaquaranti benefits from its location in the "white lands" of Monferrato Astigiano, with calcareous and sandy loam soils ideal for viticulture. These unique conditions provide the wines with distinct characteristics and quality. Combined with a southeast vineyard exposure, these factors ensure excellent growing conditions. The vineyard is managed through a blend of tradition and innovation, utilizing manual and mechanical work alongside eco-friendly practices like controlled grassing and green manure, preserving both the land and wine quality.

02

Commitment to Quality through Low Yields

Vignaquaranti prioritizes quality over quantity. By maintaining low yields per hectare, the vineyard ensures that each grape reaches its maximum potential. Manual harvesting and careful grape selection further enhance the integrity of the wines. This focus on meticulous vineyard management translates into exceptional wines, with rich flavors and depth, reflecting the full potential of the land and the vines.

03

Sustainable and Organic Practices

Vignaquaranti is deeply committed to sustainability, evolving toward organic production with certification expected by 2025. This commitment started with the use of low sulphites in the winemaking process and a focus on environmentally friendly practices. By eliminating chemical additives and avoiding aggressive production methods, Vignaquaranti continues to produce wines that are not only high in quality but also respectful of the land, promoting a sustainable future for viticulture.
