Apple fibre is a natural plant product obtained from dried, micronised apple pomace. It contains both soluble and insoluble dietary fiber fractions, making it a valuable addition to functional foods. It comes in the form of a loose, homogeneous powder, with small lumps that easily break up under pressure.
The product is characterised by a yellow to light brown colour, a typical apple taste and aroma, without any foreign aromatic notes. Thanks to its high dietary fiber content and low moisture content, it is stable during storage and easy to dose.
