Turmeric Oleoresin is produced by controlled solvent extraction of selected turmeric rhizomes, concentrating curcuminoids along with turmeric’s natural colour and flavour components. It is supplied as a yellow-orange to brownish viscous liquid.
The oleoresin is used for colour and functionality, with curcumin levels typically standardized between 8% and 35%. It offers consistent colour strength, stability, and precise dosing compared to raw turmeric powder. Available in oil-soluble and water-dispersible forms, it is suitable for food processing, nutraceuticals, functional blends, and flavour systems.
