On November 28th, 2022, 250 pallets of Chilean cherries arrived by air at the Shanghai Huizhan market. Most of the cherries that arrived on the market were Santina variety and were packed in 2.5kg boxes, and some were packed in 2-in-1 5kg boxes. Buyers are looking for high-quality products that can keep the price. On November 28th, the price of a 2.5kg box of cherries dropped by USD 2.28-4.23. On the same day of arrival about half of the volume was moved.
