More than 79% of the watermelons purchased by Spain come from Morocco. Morocco increased the volume of watermelon exports to Spain during this agricultural season. Indeed, the Kingdom exported more than 85,650 tonnes of watermelons to this country for an amount of 50.73 million euros, with an average price of 0.592 euros per kilo.
