Preliminary results: Reduction of cadmium in cocoa crops

The preliminary results of the study made by the Biodiversity International and the Cooperativa Agraria Norandino in Peru about the presence of cadmium in cocoa shown that the use of Biochar could reduce cocoa crops from 40% to 80%.

This research is been found by Original Beans (Netherlands), Equal Exchange (USA), Valrhona (France) and the Co.operative Development Foundation (Canada).
