Turkey tomato paste exports have increased by 45% in the first 4 months of the year and reached 67 million USD.
Iraq was the top export destination with an export volume of 46.5 million USD, followed by Germany and Japan with 5.6 and 3 million USD respectively.
Covid19 outbreak has reportedly increased the demand for packaged products. The exporters report that the demand for Turkish tomato paste has increased 7 times in Netherlands and nearly quadrupled in Germany.
