Restrictive measures imposed by several importing countries on the supply of poultry meat from Ukraine have reduced the volume of shipment abroad. Accordingly, in February 2020, there was a significant drop in exports. But since mid-March 2020, poultry producers have seen a 3-fold increase in demand for their products. Currently, there is a surplus of poultry meat in Ukraine, despite increased demand.
