Vessel schedules causing some delays for West Coast exporters

Backlogs and blank sailings at US West Coast shipping ports are causing delays and logistical headaches for agriculture suppliers from Washington down through California. Multiple exporters of goods from produce to grains have reported these delays affecting their ability to get products to their international buyers.

In more positive news, these same suppliers are not seeing backlogs or significantly higher prices on trucking services to locations as being experienced by suppliers in the Midwestern US.
