Turkey registers 175.4 million USD worth of fish product exports in 2020

Turkey has exported 175.4 million USD worth of fish products within the first 2 months of 2020.
Perch was the top exporting product with an export turnover of 59 million USD followed by bream with 50 million USD. The perch was mainly in demand in European countries whereas bream gained popularity in the Russia market with bream exports to Russia increasing by 30 % compared to the previous year and reaching 3.4 million USD.
Black Sea salmon is also another rising export product in recent years and the export turnover for this product remained steady at 1.5 million USD for the first 2 months.
