Canadian honey production

The majority of Canadian honey is grown in the Prairies with Alberta producing roughly a third, followed by Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Honey production peaks from May through August in these Provinces. Canada is a net exporter of honey with the vast majority being sold into the United States followed by China and Japan.
