U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) halted nearly 9 tonnes of meat products originated from China under prohibition allegation. Pork, chicken, duck and beef products were caught, of which most of the seized products were found in boxes of headphones, kitchenware, LCD tablets, trash bags, swim fins, cellphone covers, plastic cases, etc. The seizure was conducted in Long Beach port, LA for the last two months operation. The forbidden volume accounts for a 70% interception increase compared to the same period last year.
