The current price trend of coconut water in major markets across Indonesia

Kicking off the first month of the third quarter of 2020, the price of coconut water in the market has gone back to its average price at IDR 5000/Liter at some of the major markets in Indonesia. Previously, in the second quarter of 2020, the price of coconut water had hit its highest price so far in the year at IDR 8000/Liter due to the high demand during the month of Ramadhan in April and May 2020, in the majority of the regions in Indonesia with an exception in the major producing regions such as Riau and Jambi province where the high demand was pretty much balanced out by the high supply of this commodity. Some sellers expect that the price of coconut water would remain stable at its current price for the rest of the third quarter of 2020 for the demand is expected to remain at its normal state.
