The Spanish government announced €10 million in rescue loans for the ovine sector. This comes after farmers reported losses during the peak of the pandemic in March and April. In addition, even though the measure was welcomed by farmers, they have already announced that the help is not enough and they may need further help. Extremadura, Andalucía, and Castilla la Mancha are the three autonomous regions with the largest percentage of help.
