In Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay producers get between u$270 and u$300/ton. In Argentina, considering export tariffs and foreign exchange, they receive about u$120/ton.
Withholdings are set to 30% (on average) and the exchange rate split with a gap of around 70% (between the official and the illegal u$) is creating a situation where producers from neighboring countries are receiving almost twice as much as their Argentine pairs, in terms of income.
Some market analysts anticipate the possibility that in the next 2020/21 campaign, the interest of Argentine producers to plant and produce soybeans in Brazil, Uruguay or Paraguay will increase.
