The USA had lifted most of the trade sanctions imposed on Sudan, more than 2 years ago. Although this move came as a positive event, currently businesses in Sudan are unable to operate US dollar transactions.
Being unable to trade US dollar transaction globally, impedes Sudanese sesame seed exporters. Sudanese exporters are unable to trade with US companies as well and all transactions go under great scrutiny from correspondent banks and Sudanese companies are often asked to prove they are eligible to make business globally and not blacklisted.
