Cape Verde is a small island country located off coast of the Northwest Africa, where its 3.9% GDP growth is basically sustained on services of 70% average. Its food consumption is widely dependendant of imports of grains, seeds and food products.
Besides the most relevant food exporters located in Europe, including Portugal, Spain, Italy and Netherlands, the country has its own production of fruits, eggs, legumes and yogurts, although logistics does not seem to be an easy task considering the country has separated islands, where its 8.5% agriculture share on GDP struggles to develop and to make its way down to the Boavista and Sal islands, where the largest tourism consumption areas are.

In the aforementioned regions and also at the Capital, Praia, import goods are predominant.
