The menace of Aflatoxins on crops produced in Ghana has led to an increased rejection of the country's grain and vegetables exported to European countries.
To curb this development, the government has placed an indefinite ban on the export of all leafy vegetables to the international market following concerns from the European Union.
The Ghana Standards Authority and ministry of agriculture are educating farmers on how to handle grains after harvesting and creating standards to guide all exporters to prevent a re-occurrence.
