The increase of cinnamon exporting volume to Malaysia and South Korea

South Korea and Malaysia are the two leading importers of Vietnamese cinnamon. Vietnamese cinnamon has a 92% market share in the South Korean market and the figure for the Malaysian market is 60% market share. In 2019, cinnamon export to Malaysia increased by over 70% compared to 2018. The import of Vietnamese cinnamon in the South Korean market also increased sharply by 33% from 2018 to 2019, and the trend is expected to continue.
