Loss of Blackberry produce in Michoacán due to lockdown

A loss of 46% was witnessed in the produce of Blackberries in Michoacán, Mexico. As the country went into lockdown, the suppliers were not able to employ workers who had the ability to harvest the produce which resulted in a complete loss of the produce. The produce was to be exported to 31 countries with more than 90% of the export volume destined for the USA, Germany Italy and the Netherlands.
