Malaysian government owned rice importing company is eager to import rice

Malaysia has only 1 company that owns by its government to import and sell rice in the country; Bernas. Currently, Bernas wants to sign a contract with Vietnam for rice import even at a high price. In addition, it also looking to buy from other exporting countries such as Pakistan, India, Myanmar, and Thailand.
