A new variety of potato to be introduced by the Costa Rica government

A new variety of potato called Palmira developed by the Costa Rican government registers stable yields, both in dry and rainy seasons, producing almost 33 tons/hectare. It has a rounded shape, with a creamy-white skin and cream-colored pulp, and low water content.
