The new call in Spain aids the incorporation of young people into the countryside and the modernization of farms

The call of the government corresponds to the year 2022. It will be endowed with EUR thirty-five million, of which seventeen will be allocated to incorporating young people and the remaining eighteen to the modernization of farms.

The call, which will be resolved through the application of competitive competition criteria when selecting files, establishes more priority scores for the applications that meet certain conditions such as being in mountain or disadvantaged areas, in the Natura 2000 network, extensive livestock farming, certain types of production such as organic or belonging to other quality figures that ensure greater value fixation in rural areas. According to Minister Joaquín Olona, “higher priority will also be given to women in order to fight against the masculinization problem of the rural environment
