Argentine Chicken and Pork Prices Rise More Than Beef in September

According to data from the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), Argentinian beef prices increased by 1.8% in September, bringing the YTD increase to 67.6%. In September, the consumer price index rose 6.2%, and the annual cumulative rise was 83%.
Argentinian whole chicken prices rose 3% in September and 88.6% YoY, marking the seventh consecutive month that chicken prices have risen faster than the average beef price.
In September, Argentinian pork prices also saw an 8% rise and an increase of 87% YoY. Pig prices were 50% lower on average than beef prices in the first half of the year.
