The National Service for Agrifood Health and Quality (Senasa) has announced the closure, due to the detection of African swine fever in Germany, the importation of pork and by-products from that country. At the same time, Argentina is analyzing what measures it takes with sales from the rest of that continent so that sanitary protocols can be guaranteed.
This occurs after the German health authorities notified the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) about the first occurrence of African swine fever (ASF) in their territory.
